About Us

Our Mission

At Behavioral Pediatric Institute of Alabama, our mission is to help parents and caregivers gain a better understanding of their child’s behavioral, emotional, and/or learning problems. We are passionate about working closely with families and school systems to create a supportive and collaborative environment with the whole child in mind. We value ongoing caregiver input to help develop and implement treatment options. By establishing a partnership with parents and school systems, we can identify a child’s specific strengths and needs to customize innovative, effective, and evidence-based strategies to support each child in reaching his or her potential. We also strive to create a community of support by equipping parents and professionals with the skills and knowledge to overcome obstacles and help every child succeed.

Simply put: We believe in a comprehensive approach that creates a supportive environment to help the whole child reach his/her full potential.
