Main purpose of: To practice as an independent clinician, participate as a part of a collaborative team, help grow and develop BPIA, and to serve in a supervisory role
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain rapport with children, families, and school staff
- Develop and implement behavior programs
- Provide psychoeducation to children, families, and school staff
- Participate in scheduled collaborative meetings and supervision
- Accurately collect and graph behavior data
- Monitor the implementation of behavior intervention plans in school settings via procedural integrity checks.
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Administer criterion-referenced skills tracking assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP) to develop discrete trial training programming and/or essential skills for independence.
- Provide ongoing trainings and support to families and the treatment team
- Collaborate with family and treatment team to provide treatment/intervention feedback effectively
- Assist with making visuals and supports for treatment
- Provide in-home therapy services to target problem behavior and skill acquisition
- Develop summer programming
- Provide community outreach services such as sibling groups and/or parenting groups
- Provide trainings in the community setting
- Develop family outreach programs (e.g., parent coffees, sibling groups)
- Market BPIA and services offered
- Write a newsletter to be posted on social media and/or sent to families and school staffÂ
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- BCBA
