Main purpose of: To practice as an independent clinician and participate as a part of a collaborative team

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain rapport with children, families, and school staff
• Conduct parent and teacher interviews
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations with children in the outpatient setting 
• Conduct Independent Educational Evaluations with children
• Administer psychological assessments specific to referral questions
• Write evaluation results into a written report
• Provide diagnostic clarity
• Develop a treatment plan and recommendations
• Present assessment results to families and/or school systems in an interactive feedback session
• Provide psychoeducation to children, families, and school staff
• Provide outpatient behavior therapy
• Collaborate with family and treatment team to provide treatment/intervention feedback effectively

Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Psychology
• Licensed to practice psychology in the state of Alabama
